During my 24 years of working, I gained robust experience in managing business, leadership, teamwork, business intelligence, networking and managing financial resources, including reporting to different levels of management. This experience helped me to be more creative, innovative and business oriented.Throughout my 24 years of professional experience, I have acquired a great deal of technical knowledge and team management skills. Now, I specifically want to improve my business acumen, my strategic thinking and enhance my leadership skills through an MBA program. "I am an Electrical Power Engineer with over 15 years of experience in energy portfolio management, design, and project management. My expertise includes power system planning, utility management, and the full spectrum of electricity generation, transmission, and distribution. I am currently serving as a Regional Power Systems Development Engineer at the African Development Bank in Power Systems Development and Energy Portfolio Management. My academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, earned in 2006, a Master’s in Electrical and Renewable Energy Engineering, completed in 2012, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), awarded in 2020. I have extensive experience working with multilateral financing institutions, government-funded projects, and other organizations. The objective that pushed me to choose this Master's Program is to expand my procurement and project management skills while also improving my productivity, leading to improved performance. The procurement skills will help me to better understand the dynamics in the procurement industry, whereas the project management skills expected to be acquired at UniAthena will be more beneficial to my routine activities.

I am a seasoned business professional with a Master of Science in Procurement, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management from Salford University and an MBA from Atlantic International University. I hold CISM and CIPP certifications, and I am well-versed in SAP, QuickBooks Enterprise, and Office Suite. Fluent in French and English, I focus on boosting efficiency and growth through improved supply chain and project performance. For over 10 years, I have managed global supply chain, procurement, and project management, overseeing projects that generated $20 million in revenue annually. As the Procurement Officer for MONUSCO, I directed the IN-TEND project alongside procurement experts and negotiated high-value security contract amendments as a key member of the Category Management Team. Additionally, I oversaw a $36 million Global Fund project for Population Services International in Liberia, where I implemented a digital supply chain system to improve efficiency and minimize downtime.

Please tell us about yourself. My name is Anzovule Richard, and I’m from South Sudan. I’m 38 years old and hold a diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation. Recently, I completed an Executive Diploma in Public Health Administration from UniAthena. My academic journey started back in 2008 when I finished my A-levels, focusing on Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and subsidiary Mathematics. Unfortunately, financial constraints prevented me from continuing my education further at that time. Life took its course, and I got married, which further delayed my dreams.Ever since primary school, I aspired to become a doctor, but life’s challenges held me back. However, with the diploma I earned from UniAthena, I have begun applying for jobs, and I am hopeful that my applications will soon be considered. I also plan to resume my studies to pursue a bachelor's degree in Public Health.
