Course Module Extension Fees
If a student is unable to complete a course module within the stipulated time, an extension can be requested to continue the course. Extension fees are as follows:
- 7-Day Extension: USD 50
- 15-Day Extension: USD 75
- 30-Day Extension (Dissertation): USD 150
Rejoining Fee
If a student has discontinued the course and wishes to rejoin, a rejoining fee of USD 200 will apply to process their enrollment.
Course Transfer
In case the student wishes to switch the course in between, then she/he can place the request with the academic department. If the academic department approves the request, a USD 300 course transfer fee applies for programs such as MBA, Master’s, Bachelor’s, and DBA, while a USD 100 transfer fee applies for transfers between Microcredit courses.
Credit Transfer (for UniAthena Students)
Students can get credits transferred for modules already undertaken by the student, and a Fee of $100 per module will apply.
Note:
The final viva will be scheduled once the learner successfully completes the full payment for the chosen course.
Early Exit Awards-
Under any unforeseen circumstances, if a student wants to withdraw from the program, she/he may apply for an Early Exit Award. Based on the credits earned and modules completed, she/he might receive a credit statement or a diploma or an extended diploma by paying the certification fee.
For the early exit award, the student will have to pay, in addition to the certification charge, a fee against the processing of the early award request ($100).
The exit award fee for the IDBA program is USD 1,000, with USD 500 refundable if the student rejoins the course.
Global MBA Fee Payment Requirements
Enrolled learners in the GMBA programme must pay a minimum of 50% of the total course fee, along with the QS Diploma Certificate Fee, to become eligible to register with Abertay University.
Masters, MBA, BBA – FastTrack Learners – General Information
Any enrolled learner must pay a minimum of 70% of the total course fee to become eligible to enrol in the Research and Dissertation Module (or Capstone Project Module).
To attend the final viva, all course fees (including installment fees/module fees), except the certificate fee, must be fully settled.
Exemptions
Based on APL (Accreditation to Prior Learning) Policy, credit exemptions can be granted.
Under APEL (Accreditation to Prior Experiential Learning) Policy, if you have extensive experience and knowledge in a particular domain, then you can get exempted from certain modules (based on work experience), at a Module Exemption fee equivalent to 50% of the module fee per module exempted. Similarly, one can receive credit exemptions against prior Certified Learning from any institution, based on APCL (Accreditation to Prior Certified Learning) Policy. 50% of the module exemption fee will be charged per course module exempted.
Course Extension Charges for Fast Track Payment Plans
The Fast Track payment plans include Course Extension Charges as follows:
- Course Extension for 3 months: USD 250.00
- Course Extension for 6 months: USD 500.00
- Course Extension for 9 months: USD 750.00
- Course Extension for 12 months: USD 1000.00
Please note:
- You can extend in phases of 3 months each by paying USD 250 every time (i.e., every 3 months extension will be charged at USD 250).
- The minimum extension period is 3 months, meaning you must pay a minimum of USD 250 for a 3-month extension, even if you finish in less than 3 months.

Failure to make the payment according to the course fee schedule may lead to a suspension of services, including access to the portal.

VIVA Eligibility for IDBA Learners
For IDBA learners who have completed the academic requirements of the IMBA part, at least 45% of the total course fee needs to be paid in order to attend the VIVA.
Course Plan Switch Fee
Learners have the option to choose between two payment plans: Fastrack and Flexible. In certain cases, learners who initially enroll in one plan may wish to switch to the other during their learning journey. Such requests are allowed; however, a course plan switch fee of USD 300 will be applicable.

Re-Registration Fee will be charged after 12 months have elapsed from the date of the last module completion.
DBA Fees
Early Exit – Mphil Certifications
Exit request prior registering to for the second year: USD 3000.00
Exit after registering for the second year: 2nd year full fee (USD 3500) + USD 1500
MPhil Certification as Dual Certification (w/o exiting): USD 1500.00 (Student must complete 2nd-year fee payment to claim the MPhil as dual certification)
M.Res Certificate Fee
The M.Res. Certificate Fee is applicable exclusively for DBA - GMU courses.
M.Res. Certificate Fee: USD 1,500
Courier charges: 50 USD for the dispatch of the certificate
Academic Eligibility Condition for M.Res. Certificate
1. Completion of Year 1
Module 5 needs to be completed to be eligible to claim the certificate
2. M. Res as an Exit Option
A minimum of 75% of the total course fee must be paid, along with the M.Res Certificate Fee of USD 1,500 (an additional USD 50 courier charge will apply if a hard copy is required).
Extension Charges
Extending Research Period beyond 2 years : USD 2000.00 per year (Max 4 Yrs)
Module Assessment Submission Extension charge: USD 100.00 (Max 15 days from original date)
Module Retake Charges (Year-1): USD 500.00 (In case student was not able to take the module in the first place and requests to repeat the module)
Change of Research Schedule and completion: USD 500.00 (If within 2 years period, for thesis/research)
Module Deferral Fee: USD 250.00 (Module Deferral will apply for upcoming modules, in case a student is not ready to start with the module as per the schedule. Module Deferral will entails admin fee)
Temporary withdrawal from the program: USD 500.00 (Current year fee to be settled incomplete)
Resumption Charges: USD 500.00 + Research Year fee applicable at the time of resumption
(Max within 2 years of withdrawal)
Batch Change
A student can request change of Batch. This will entail a batch change fee of $100
Courier Fee
Courier Fee: USD 50.00 (Applicable for delivery of physical certificate to Student's address)
Refund
After enrolling in a particular program or receiving the admission letter, we are unable to offer refunds as per our policy. However, prior to enrollment, all learners have the option to utilize the free trial period, which lasts between 3 to 7 days.

Invoices are generated based on the learner’s request and the available information. It is automatically created when the learner’s address details are available in the system.
