My name is Catherine Roberts. I am 33 years old, Gambian by birth and married. I work as an Intermediate Manager in Human Resources and Administration.

My passion and determination for a career in Management drew me to study at UniAthena. Additionally, I believe that following completion of my program, I will gain knowledge and experience that will add value to my work.

I would appreciate learning how to advance my career path by achieving my goals and objectives.

My next career goal is to become CEO of my own company and create employment opportunities for the youth.

My academic journey has been successful, since it has prepared me to gain skills and knowledge that has helped me advance my career path.

Last month I scheduled an interview for ten candidates and they were successfully interviewed. On the same day, I also conducted training for the front office staff on customer service. It was a hectic day, but I was able to accomplish everything on my to-do list.

I believe being punctual at work is very essential, as well as being a team player.

I went to a birthday party where two of my friends were arguing over who should serve the guests. I called both of my friends to the guest room for a moment of calm. I came up with my own strategy to solve the problem. I asked one of them to serve the dessert and the other one to serve the dinner, while I served the drinks, and they both agreed to the idea.  In short, I demonstrated exemplary leadership and mental toughness in that event to achieve consensus.

My dream job is to become a strategic Management Specialist, since I enjoy being involved in strategic decision-making and making sure goals and objectives are achieved.
