Igniting Mind & Body: Yoga & Music

Celebrating a day meant for a specific purpose brings a revival which otherwise is forgotten due to busier schedules. Everything that we want to do demands peace of mind and satisfaction. We have been looking for peace a lot lately! Chaos have had their share, hence we are looking for a pause from everything that has kept us occupied for a reason or other.  A balanced life makes it possible to make the best out of what we have and what we wish to share.

A closer update on what is going on in the outside world, which has so much to offer, I arrived at two important days to make the chaos calm down. International Yoga Day and World Music Day! We have been doing it all this time. A moment again to make a choice for ourselves and for our dear ones.

We have the immense power to heal ourselves and pass the positivity onto others. A day spent in doing yogic asanas, meditation, listening to soulful music, groovin to the best music brings peace. It heals our mind and ignites the seven chakras of a balanced body which are our energy centers.

Yoga dates back to the civilizations of the historical times around 1500 BC, where it was documented in the sacred texts and believed to deliver innovation, practice and development to human lives. So why not learn an age old practice that brings passion to the mind and compassion to the body. From the word Passion I realised, the best music is a delight to the mind and heart. Melodies surprise us, making us forget everything or remember everything. Then choosing your favourite genre to blend into a few yoga asanas can bring some magical experience to our souls.

Another important element in YOGA brings specific posture and body elements aimed at healing and concentrating the energy to specific parts of the body. The genres in the music have rhythmic peculiarities bringing harmony. Having agreed to this, I have successfully convinced a HAPPY Heart! That beats to our life, that beats to our emotions.

Much has been written and developed as these two fields of study evolved over ages. Times gathered the best and the rest that made up the best of times. Times have been changing bringing so much positivity and innovation. We have our best times to make the most out of today and this very moment.

A small secret with a concluding note, about the best time to practice these studies. “Prahar” or “Prahara”  is a Sanskrit term for a unit of time, or subdivision of the day. The morning time of the day, the one before the sunrise is the best one to practice the physical and mental exercises reaping maximum  benefits. Results have proven the healing that it has brought to mind and body experiences.

To bring the experience which brings an uncountable set of benefits, let’s grab the yoga mat, stretch and bend! Pull out our most loved playlists, and startoff to a rejuvenating journey. This fusion is magic, bringing the best intuitive experience. Let’s give time to do it for ourselves! Bring more shine!
