Guglielmo Marconi University (GMU) is based in Rome, Italy and it is the first Italian Open University recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) Presently, GMU has a community of over 16.000 students enrolled in graduate and postgraduate programs, a team of 300 faculty members and academic advisors and more than 200 tutoring experts.

GMU is the first online university accredited to the Italian Ministry of Education (MIUR). It has been accredited since 2010 to the Hellenic National Center for Information and Academic Recognition (DOATAP) and offers degrees in modern languages and literature, psychology and education sciences, as well as a master's degree in leadership, management and technologies of education.
Guglielmo Marconi University has collaboration agreements with European, American, African, Middle Eastern, Central and South American institutions. These agreements mainly foresee transactional mobility, generate bilateral and multilateral partnerships, develop activities and study programs among institutions that release dual or joint degrees, promote and diffuse the Italian language and culture, ultimately enhancing the quality of academic systems.
