Please tell us about yourself, your family and your interests.

I am 33 years of age, married with no kids. I am an avid lover of strategic leadership and growth; seeing and catalyzing growth in others is a passion of mine. I love wildlife and nature photography and have been doing it since the age of 20. I have my own accounting practice and have managed that since 2015.

What drew you to the program you are studying at Athena? Is it living up to your expectations?

So far I am loving the experience and exposure to the international world of business. This program is a definite eye opener for me and even though I am only a few chapters into it, I am already using the knowledge gained at my workplace. I was initially drawn to this course by the topics covered as I was looking for something practical and not just inapplicable theory.

What would you like to do after completing this course from Athena?

I would like to pursue my Doctorate after completion.

What do you think makes a great teacher?

Passion, Humility and Compassion. The drive to see others grow and develop, fueled by an understanding that although they don’t know everything they can learn every day and pass on that knowledge is a winning combination. I think once that is inherent in a person, they have what it takes to be a great teacher.

What’s your dream job?

A globe trotting wildlife photographer or an entrepreneurial motivational speaker.

What is the most courageous thing you have ever done?

Getting married…and hanging off a cliff to take a photo of a Tropicbird.

What is your best childhood memory?

Playing with my grandmother.

What is your idea of a perfect vacation?

All expenses paid for a trip to Iceland for one month and the opportunity to explore the land at will with my wife.

Which historical character would you like to be friends with?

Jesus Christ

Mention one important lesson you have learned in life that made  you what you are today.

Jesus loves me and even though I am not perfect there is always hope to learn, grow and be better as long as I draw breath.
