What drew you to the program you are studying at Athena? Do you think it will help you to realize your career goals?
My dream of furthering my education/career has always been to enroll in a Master program that deals with project or construction management in an accredited and reputable institution. I have not been able to get this opportunity around. I also attempted a few online-related programs but couldn’t cope because of the huge financial cost and unfriendly payment plans.
I stumbled upon the program advert – Engineering Management at UniAthena on Facebook. That caught my attention, and I also found the payment plan quite friendly. In indicating my interest in the program, Grace Lewis of UniAthena reached out to me on Whatsapp and offered incredible guidance and help to enroll, especially when I had lots of challenges with payment for the first course.
Engineering Management as a program is all-encompassing in the aspects of managing engineering projects and resources. I found this exciting!

I simply pray and meditate on the issue for inspiration.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced in your life? How did you tackle it?
The biggest challenge I have faced is the conspiracy and strong opposition from some stakeholders on one of the projects I supervised some time ago. They sought to compromise some aspects of the work with the aim of dubiously enriching themselves. I reported the real situation to my Managing Director and also insisted that the client’s representative who was also part of the conspiracy, write to us officially on the alterations they want to do and take responsibility for it. In conjunction with my Operation Manager, we went further to unofficially seek the audience of the head of the agency and properly paint the picture of what was transpiring to him and the implications.
If you could only change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I wish to be more coordinated and organized.

Who is the person you admire most and why?
I admire Pastor Dr. W.F. Kumuyi, the Founder and General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church. He stands for and preaches the gospel truth courageously, also a great mentor for anyone who desires to be different in a corrupt society.
