Is the course you have enrolled for at Athena helping you to realize your career goals?
Opting for the Project Management course at Athena will definitely help me achieve my career goals. I would like to end up one day working for one of the United Nations organizations.
The application of Project Management principles and guidelines are quite universal and will enable anyone who is familiar with the same to fit into any organization.
What would you like to learn next? What are your next career steps?
Next, I would like to enroll in a pure procurement course.
Describe one thing that makes you feel a sense of accomplishment. Explain why.
The ability to come to the aid of a fellow human being; especially prisoners and orphans give me a sense of accomplishment.
In Africa, prisoners are marginalized and rejected by their families. On the other hand, orphans need a shoulder to lean on and sleep off. They want us to share their day-to-day stories. We could all do with attention but prisoners and orphans need it the most.
What helps you to bounce back from setbacks?
Hope, which is derived from my faith, is the rock upon which I step on to get back from any fall. I am a very optimistic person.
What’s the best book you’ve ever read? Why did you like it?
“ Rich Dad Poor Dad: What The Rich Teach Their Kids About Money That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not!” by Robert T.Kiyosaki
I like the contrast of life the book provides. It tells you about the reality of life and how one must accept who they are and forge ahead without fear.
If you could live anywhere, where would you live? Why?
My little village because of the serene environment and the safety it provides.
Who is someone you consider a hero in your life? Why?
I consider Nelson Mandela a hero because he did not harbor hatred though he was wrongfully jailed for 27 years. He made peace with his jailers.
