My home country is Sri Lanka, my current resident country is Singapore and I am married with two sons. I love working with customers and managing the business.
What drew you to the program you are studying at Athena? Is it living up to your expectations?
Yes, I am sure this program will play a valuable role in my career and give me more knowledge to run the business better.
What would you like to do after completing this course from Athena?
Honestly, my dream is to pursue an MBA which I am currently doing at UniAnthena. Next, I would like to learn new skills that are relevant to my career and industry. I hope the learning is best for me as my next career step.
What do you think makes a great teacher?
A great teacher would be someone who is kind, friendly and easy to get along with all the work he/she assigns to her students.
What’s your dream job?
My dream job was to be a Chief Executive Officer which I am presently. I also wish to make the company more successful.
What is the most courageous thing you have ever done?
I made a decision to sell off the building while we were in a difficult situation and bounce back the business and buy the new building for the business, a few years later.
What is your best childhood memory?
Playing with my friends every day from six to eight in the evening. I would play soccer or tag along with my friends. We had a lot of fun while playing.
What is your idea of a perfect vacation?
The perfect vacation is where we recharge our batteries to burn fuel when we return, where we have memories to look back on later, where we can do whatever we want with no time limit. Making the vacation perfect is up to us.
Which fictional character (a character from a film, book, TV series, play) would you like to be friends with?
Harry Potter because he is really cool and friendly with other people. I have watched all the Harry Potter movies.
Mention one important lesson you have learned in life that made you what you are today.
One important lesson I learned throughout my life is that good things don't come easy. After working hard, I enjoy and cherish life.
