I realized that I lacked management skills at the workplace, which led me to join an MBA programme. 

During a colleague's absence, I was tasked with taking over his responsibilities while simultaneously meeting my own project targets. Balancing two different roles was quite challenging, but with my determination and commitment, I achieved it and received appreciation from my manager. 

I believe one must be focused and optimistic despite the challenges. Surrounding yourself with people you can turn to for support amidst problems is critical to success.

During a staff sit-down strike triggered by managerial actions, I intervened and managed to stabilize the situation. I addressed the staff's grievances and facilitated discussions with the management until the issues were resolved and peace was restored.

I recommend people read the word of God, the Bible, for solace and strength when adversities come their way. 

I dream to be one of the creative managers, as I frequently delegate tasks to empower my juniors to build their capacities. 

They should know that things outside differ considerably from the academic environment. You need to be pragmatic, market yourself in your profession, and establish your identity through your actions.
