MBA in Operations & Project Management | Batch 2023

Can you briefly introduce yourself

My name is Reymarck Gabriel, and I am from the Philippines. I hold a BSBA degree major in Operations Management and later completed my MBA in Operations and Project Management at UniAthena. I am engaged in administrative and operational support functions.

What was your professional or personal situation before enrolling in the course?

Before enrolling, I had already completed my bachelor’s degree and gained work experience in operations. While I understood how daily processes operated, I felt my professional journey lacked momentum. My exposure to advanced knowledge was limited, and I needed a higher qualification for better opportunities.

What motivated you to enroll in this course?

My motivation to enroll was to enhance my skills and strengthen my credentials. I wanted to prepare myself for leadership roles and improve my prospects for better career opportunities, both regionally and internationally.

What were you hoping to achieve at that time?

At that time, my goals were to deepen my knowledge in project management and operations strategy. I also wanted to become more confident in handling teams, meeting deadlines, and managing bigger responsibilities.

How did the course help you—professionally or personally?

The program equipped me with structure and clarity in my professional approach. I learned to plan projects step by step and became more effective in managing time, risks, and resources. It also elevated my confidence in decision-making and leadership, while helping me think more strategically beyond day-to-day tasks.

Was there any specific module or learning that made a big difference for you?

The module that made the biggest difference for me was project planning and risk management. It taught me how to organize work more effectively, prevent delays, and address problems early. These lessons have been instrumental, and I apply them in my professional role.

Can you share a specific change or achievement after completing the course?

After completing my MBA, I was able to take on larger tasks and contribute to improving processes at work. My supervisors trusted me with greater responsibilities, and I felt more prepared and professional in my role.

How do you think access to quality education like this can help learners who otherwise may not afford it?

Access to quality education has a measurable impact. When programs are made affordable and flexible, it allows working professionals upskill without compromising on their full-time jobs. Many individuals have the talent and potential but lack the opportunity due to financial barriers, education like this provides them with a fair chance to grow, upgrade  their skills, and move forward.

What would you say to someone considering this course but unsure about enrolling?

My message to anyone who is unsure about enrolling is this: if you truly want to grow in your career, take that step forward. The lessons are practical, relevant and applicable at the workplace. Your investment in learning will pay off in the long run.
