My name is Patient Kyanda Kaboza, a Congolese citizen born on April 29, 1986, and I am 38 years old. I am an Engineer specializing in Telecommunication and Network Infrastructure. From 2011 to 2015, I lectured in Networking and Software Programming at Université Protestant de Lubumbashi (UPL). However to increased work responsibilities, I stopped teaching.

After obtaining my degree, I joined GEFOR SARL as Technical Secretary to the CEO. GEFOR is a Congolese drilling company specializing in various drilling techniques. From 2011 to 2014, I trained on-site in drilling projects, reporting, and production statistics. Under the mentorship of the CEO, a professor at the University of Lubumbashi, I learned comprehensive project management skills.

From 2015 to 2017, I was involved in supply chain management and procurement. Since 2018, I have been serving as the Administration and Technical Director. My career in drilling has deepened my professional expertise, and I have a strong passion for both learning and my work.

Our company recently experienced an accident classified as an LTI (lost time injury), which significantly impacted the company and deeply affected me in my role. The company bore all the costs associated with the accident, resulting in a two-month work stoppage.

This incident heightened my awareness of the importance of health and safety knowledge. I felt a strong need to develop a system for controlling and managing safety in company operations to prevent future incidents. I firmly believe that the courses I have taken will significantly contribute to achieving my career objectives.

Next, I would like to pursue a Master's in Business Administration to reach the level of CEO, COO, or CFO of the company.

My next career step is to become the Managing Director of the company.

My academic journey has prepared me for my career by providing a strong foundation in engineering courses and has enabled me to adapt and excel in my career.

One of my challenging goals is to complete my MBA in Business Administration within a year.

The essential attributes for success are discipline, seriousness, and a focus on objectives and goals.

I regularly step out of my comfort zone by overseeing site operations and demonstrating leadership by ensuring that my team has the necessary materials and a safe workplace.

My dream job is to become a company owner and a good leader throughout my career. I aspire to lead with vision and integrity.
