Please tell us about yourself.

I am Hope Wafula Nyongesa from Kenya, and I am 24 years old. I have strong organizational skills, good morals, self-motivation, and interpersonal skills.

What attracted you to the program you're enrolled in at UniAthena? Do you believe it will contribute to achieving your career objectives?

I really enjoyed UniAthena's programs because they are insightful and helpful in skill-building. I believe they significantly contribute to achieving my career objectives. I have also invited my friends to join UniAthena's wonderful programs.

What are your next career steps?

My next career step is to pursue a Master's degree in Public Health.

How has your academic journey prepared you for your career?

My academic journey has equipped me with the skills to benefit the entire community.

Tell us about a time you planned and accomplished a challenging goal.

When I found UniAthena's program online in late 2022, I decided to get started on my learning journey. By 2023, I had completed 18 courses successfully.

Considering all the people you've met in your field, what personal attributes do you believe are essential for success?

Being courageous, respecting time, setting goals within a timeframe, and striving for success are essential attributes.

Describe a time you stepped outside your comfort zone and demonstrated leadership skills.

In 2023, I changed my approach to understanding things and acting professionally, which led to significant advancements and increased productivity.

Which book would you recommend as a must-read for everyone, and why?

I recommend "Principles of Management and Administration" because it contains essential information for becoming a good leader. The better a leader I become, the more achievements I can reach with my team.

What is your dream job, and why?

I believe in embracing every job opportunity, I’m confident that we can achieve anything we set our minds to.

Do you have any message for professionals just starting out in their careers?
