Please tell us about yourself.
I am a specialized professional in logistics and supply chain management. My first job following graduation was with the Deraah Company for Trade in Riyadh City, where I worked in the capacity of International Purchasing Manager. The experience I have gained from the private sector has tremendously provided me with real business skills in terms of business correspondence, manufacturing cycles, international payment terms, production, operations management, and global logistics.
This role requires the initiation and planning of products from their conceptualization to prototyping until their launch in the market. I have gained valuable experience working in three different humanitarian organizations in Yemen, namely, ACTED as a Senior Logistics Officer, the ICRC as a Logistics Site manager, and the United Nations World Food Programme as a Logistics Associate in Reporting and Data Analysis. Additionally, I have earned a Diploma in Advanced English Skills from The University of Delaware, USA, and have also passed the UNFAO language proficiency exam with a level C proficiency.
