Please tell us about yourself and your family.
I come from an Indian middle-class family. My father is a farmer, and my mother is a homemaker. I have two older sisters, and they are married. We are a family of five, including my father, mother, wife, and two kids who are studying. Upon completing my education, I worked in Mumbai for 3 years as an account assistant. Subsequently, I moved to Qatar and held various positions with several organizations. Quite recently, I was a part of a project related to FIFA 2022.
What drew you to the programme you are studying at UniAthena? Do you think it would help you realise your career goals?
Yes, it was the updates about UniAthena online programs I received through different social media platforms that inspired me. I see it as a way to develop my career, and I will find success in my career as part of a well-established organization
What would you like to learn next? What are your next career steps?
My next career steps would be learning subjects such as quality management, quality assessment and control, or procurement.
What do you think makes a great teacher?
Great teachers are educators who endeavor to make the world a better place. Among the important traits are respect, kindness, courage, honesty, self-discipline, perseverance, compassion, communication, collaboration, empathy, patience, etc.
What’s your dream job?
Based on my experience in well-established companies amidst different responsibilities and newly acquired qualifications, I aim to make a positive impact every day.
If you face a problem at work, what is the first thing you do?
I remain patient and stay positive. I start by finding out the real problem at hand. As best as I can, I try to resolve the issue or seek advice from colleagues or workstream heads.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced in your life? How did you tackle it?
Due to cost cutting, our team's two members were transferred, and I was left with a considerable workload. I planned and worked diligently within the extended timeframe anonymously, achieved the milestone before the deadline, and submitted it to the end user.
If you could only change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I absolutely want to change my tendency towards high anxiety and temper issues.
What is the last book you read and the last movie you saw?
The last book I read was Turning Points, and the last movie I saw was a South Indian film, Kooman.
