Please tell us about yourself and your family.

I am 37 years old and married. I have a six-month-old daughter.
We all live together close to Salzburg, in Austria. I am Sales Manager at Paul Green responsible for the entire Austrian Market.

What drew  you to the program you are studying at Athena? Do you think it will help you realize your career goals?

Well, I am interested in learning new management techniques and further being able to put them into practice on a daily basis. Hopefully, it will help to realize my career goals.

What would you like to learn next? What are your next career steps?

I would like to learn more about business development and the development of emerging markets. My next career step is the position as a Sales Director.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

The most important thing in my spare time is to spend time with my family.
The other things are sports in all its variations including Ski, Cross Country, Climbing, Mountain bike and Running.

Suppose you had to live alone on a deserted island for a month. What are the 3 things you will bring with you?

First Thing would be a sleeping bag because even on a sunny warm island the nights can be freezing.
Second item would be a long sharp knife because either you can hunt with it or build a shelter.
The third thing is Flintstones to be able to light a campfire or  cook food.

If you face a problem at work, what is the first thing you do?

I familiarise myself with all the necessary details and then work on a common solution.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced in your life? How did you tackle it?

The biggest challenge was to climb a 24,700ft mountain and then ski down.
A large amount of perseverance and long preparation time were key factors for success.

If you could only change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I would like to change to not be so stubborn.

What did you want to become when you were a child?

Football Star.

What is the last book you read and the movie you saw?

The last book I read was “Hummeldumm” by the Author Tommy Jaud
The last movie I watched was Class reunion, starring Til Schweiger in the lead role
 

Who is the person you admire most and why?

Roger Federer is an idol for so many people. His style of play and elegance are legendary. He has held on to the top spot for over a decade.
