Hi Ndeye, thanks for taking out time to talk to us, first, we would want to know more about you, your family, work, life in general.

I am versatile and experienced in banking with excellent academic credentials and I have over 8 years’ experience in numerous industries in successful companies in France, the UK, and others.

Being committed and passionate about providing leadership of excellence has been reflected in the results achieved and the programs I have implemented in all my capacities to date. This success has been confirmed by targets achieved and surpassed in every company that has employed me.

I have a lovely family around the world which gives me the chance to visit many different countries and understand their cultures. My interest is in banking as well as management and leadership. I am open-minded and enjoy working with people from different walks of life. As a hard-working, resourceful individual, I excel when negotiating deals, motivating and leading others in a team, and finding creative solutions to strategy related issues. All these give me a tremendous sense of accomplishment and satisfaction in my work.

What drew you to the program you are studying at Athena? Is it living up to your expectations?

I have always been interested in becoming a Certified Manager, equipped with the right skills, competencies, and attributes to be able to help businesses and individuals grow.

Coming across Athena Global Education at the right place at the right time, I believe it will be fun and a great learning journey to study with. So far, I like their professionalism and support all the way. Most importantly, I love online delivery methods and flexibility in terms of payment and study

What would you like to learn next? What are your next career steps?

In the future, I would like to pursue an MBA or a Doctorate degree to enhance my competencies. I will continue working in the banking industry while upskilling with Athena.

Are you working somewhere? If yes, what do you feel is the most enjoyable/rewarding aspect of your job?

I am a very resourceful and energetic person and I like to plan my tasks by making sure they are done properly.

I am sociable and very open-minded and always looking to upskill myself.

What is your most cherished memory?

My most cherished memory is when I got my first job which was a big challenge to me. I was employed after a long and exhaustive assessment of several candidates. It still makes me feel strong and encouraged when it comes to my mind..

Which country have you always wanted to visit and why?

Dubai is a dream country for me and the reason I would like to visit that lovely country is to see how they managed to grow strong within just a short span of time. I believe they are smart in terms of infrastructure and I love their vision of development.

Do you have professional role models? Who are they and what do you find inspiring about them and their accomplishments?

Yes, Nelson Mandela is a role model to me for his strong faith, tenacity, and sound leadership. From prison to palace is the most amazing story humanity can ever see.

Mohandas Gandhi also is my role model because through peace and diplomacy, he managed to help India become a better place. I look up to his leadership style.

If you could go on a road trip with anyone in history, who would it be?

Nelson Mandela whom I admire for his leadership style, courage, strength, and dignity he displayed throughout his whole life. He could have given up during the harsh times characterized by racism and hatred but he never did.

What have you learnt from your experiences that you would like to pass on to otherse?

From my experiences, I learned that life is a policy of give and take. Being sociable, trustworthy, and fair to people is something I would like to pass on to generations to come.
