Please tell us about yourself, your family and your interests.

I am a 33-year-old single man living in Harare, Zimbabwe. I currently run my own business. My twin and I are the last born in a family of four siblings. I love sports, particularly football, cricket, rugby, basketball, and others. I am very much into music and traveling. I like to visit places and talk to people from different cultures. Oh, and I am passionate about entrepreneurship.

What drew you to the program you are studying at Athena? Is it living up to your expectations?

What drew me to the program at Athena is its affordability and its partnership with Universidad Católica De Murcia(UCAM). I also wanted to learn something that involved business analytics. I love the e-learning platform. I find it very engaging and informative.

What would you like to learn next? What are your next career steps?

Ideally, I would want to pursue a Doctorate in Business or another Masters in a relatable subject like Data Science. I hope to be a successful business analyst one day.

Tell us about a couple of your achievements that have been particularly rewarding.

Establishing two of my own businesses, a marketing research firm and a Covid-19 solutions company I consider to be my achievements.

What acquired skill have you always wanted to learn?

Business Analytics. I want to be able to analyze a business using specific data tools.

If you could go back in time, what time would you go to?

The year 2003. Some of my best memories go back to that year.

Any person, living or dead, you would like to have dinner with?

I can name three people: Dr. Claud Anderson, who has successfully implemented social and economic change throughout his career,  Angela Davis, an American political activist, and my late mother, Julie Davidets.

Which fictional character would you like to meet?

Marty from House of Lies portrayed by Don Cheadle and Martin Payne enacted by Martin Lawrence from the show Martin.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given? How has it changed your life?

“Always stay true to yourself and believe that you have a purpose.” Whenever I go through a difficult period, this advice reminds me of my worth and encourages me to tackle any situation head-on.
