I have been working in the banking industry for more than 12 years, and I enjoy working in this sector. I am very dedicated, and I love to interact with people and face the challenges of my day to day activities. I am very dynamic, and always open to learning. Being an extremely dedicated mother of two beautiful girls, I love to spend my time with them, listen to their stories, play around, dance and exchange a lot of hugs and kisses with them. My interest is to learn more, upskill myself in order to create my own brand, using the natural resources that we have in Mozambique to expand in the world, as a way to inspire young women to pursue their dreams.

The modules in my program are what I am looking forward to studying. I am ready to improve my management skills, and also to create a positive impact on the lives of my staff members.

Since I want to grow professionally, and I have a passion for the sector that I am working in, I plan to learn more about the oil and gas industry, the project finance side of the sector, and the banking industry. 

I have designed a product where the bank offers high remuneration in USD accounts to Multinationals with USD proceeds,  so as to attract USD liquidity to the bank based on the fact that Mozambique has a shortage in FCY (Foreign Currency Yield), and a very small source of FCY. Basically, banks make losses on the buying side and make a lot of money on the selling side. So far, we have achieved forex targets, and we have opened more than 5 big client accounts.

I have designed a workflow process to open Standby LCs for fuel importation that has been used for the entire bank.

I have managed to open my personal furniture store, all designed by me, and also made in Mozambique, with our Mozambican wood.

I have always wanted to be resilient. Chase my dreams even though they seem impossible.

I would like to have dinner with one of my sisters, because she is very sick. We used to be very close, but when we grew up, she became more different and eventually our friendship just disappeared. We could be closer again.

The best piece of advice I have been given is to always trust God, even when things are getting worse, because faith in God will change the situation. And to be grateful for everything that I have.
