My journey started during the COVID-19 pandemic.

For over 20 years, I have been a financial expert scrutinizing financial and operational processes to make them more efficient. However, it was not until the Pandemic that I actively began considering how global companies would now coordinate their operations and functions to deliver their goods to the end user efficiently. That is when I knew what I wanted to do in the future! 

Moreover, I applied for the Master in Supply Chain and Logistics Management at UniAthena. The course was an eye-opener, and I learned to apply many techniques I already understood, but had not been used in depth. I traveled online through large companies, guided by each topic and module I had to complete. This way, I gained insights from global companies such as Samsung, Starbucks, and Ford. 

More importantly, I learned how various theories and business functions are integrated into an efficient supply chain. This integration enables companies to achieve their goals, generate profit, deliver products to customers effectively, and ultimately expand while gaining a competitive edge. 

During my studies, I explored the varied functions of supply chain management—such as planning, sourcing, procurement, operations and production, logistics, and information management. I also analyzed how technological advancements influence these functions and how they are integrated to ensure the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods, services, and information from suppliers to customers.

My research was titled “The Evaluation of Supply Chain Management: A Case Study on the Correlation Between Supply Chain Management and Esuverfa N.V.’s Business Expansion.

Writing my proposal and finally my thesis was an exciting experience, but also a very challenging one. Firstly, it was a challenge to find a company willing to participate in my research, which led to writing three different proposals in total. 

When I was finally at the stage of conducting the actual research, the company I used as my research object declined, so I had to find another company at a time so close to the end of my research. However, nothing could keep me from succeeding because I loved what I do and was good at it too. I gained a lot of practical academic knowledge, which made me determined to graduate. Fortunately, I was able to join another company in the same industry in time, so I didn’t have to start from scratch.

The study examines the impact and efficacy of supply chain management on the effectiveness and functionality of business operations, enhancing the capability for continuous business growth and profitability. Performance plays a crucial part in the long-term survival of businesses. This study determines the impact of supply chain management (SCM) functions, particularly highlighting the importance of accurate demand forecasting, which significantly affects a company's success, continuity, operational performance, and customer satisfaction. 

It explores the intricate relationship between the business and its suppliers and customers, the integration of operational processes, the efficacy of accurate demand forecasting, and the impact of utilizing advanced technologies to achieve continuous growth and profitability.

Finally, I completed my research and graduated! With a Master in Supply Chain and Logistics Management, I’m equipped with the financial and operational expertise to assist organizations in achieving their strategic goals by establishing structural, transparent, and results-oriented systems.

Now the real journey starts of how to apply my knowledge to help companies grow.  I tend to think of myself as a problem solver and solution seeker who supports companies in their growth path by helping them to streamline their processes. I’m specialized in optimizing business processes, streamlining operational structures, and designing strategies that lead to measurable growth.
