Life brought me to places I had not anticipated. During the COVID outbreak, I found myself working on projects for the local government, although I have always aspired to be internationally inclined. My name is Ositoyibo Ogaga Joseph, and I am presently pursuing a Master in Engineering Management with UniAthena offered by Guglielmo Marconi University. I work as an Offshore Installation Manager with Depthwize Nigerian limited, specializing in drilling for oil and gas in shallow waters.

UniAthena has an unbeatably flexible mode of payment. The master's programme at UniAthena is so well structured that it has systematically transformed me from a conventional manager into a green manager.

On the positive side, the course is organized and structured very well. The content is exactly what I am looking for and was expecting. On the other hand, my job is too demanding and sometimes I spend the whole week in rural areas where network coverage is not good. Again, can it be considered that we have at least a week's break after the completion of a module just to refresh and catch up with work, family, and other projects?

Hello, my name is Fikeu Francky Vivier from Cameroon. I am an expert consultant in factory architecture, mainly in the field of food processing. I am a co-founder and general manager of a construction company. Our expertise is in the construction and manufacture of metal structures based in Guinea Conakry.

Initially, the nature of my work did not allow me to follow my passion because of my constant movement. I had an absolutely amazing first-class experience at UniAthena for my Postgraduate Certificate in Machine Learning. I found the study material, the video lectures and further reading interesting and engaging. The academic staff was also friendly and supportive and they were always quick to answer my questions by email which I liked. Their IT team was good at getting back to me when I had this issue logging into the website where I had to reset the password endlessly, but they fixed it within a short span of time. That was nice. The assignments had a very practical and business-minded focus to them, for instance, one of the questions asked was how you would apply AI to improve a company's operational efficiency. This is great because it really helps to engage your thinking about how your studies are connected to your future career or job role. 

The only downside point was some of the quiz questions. They could perhaps do with a little revamping. However, the quiz questions were focused on continually improving and testing your understanding so if you complete them, you get a very good grasp of the course. You can work at your own pace which means that there is no pressure and you can learn a lot in a short space of time which fits into your hectic schedule. I enjoyed the course that I chose which made it easier to study. All in all, I had a very positive postgraduate education experience. I didn’t even know where to start from or how to exercise self discipline and make online learning a success. However, the greatest support system at Athena lessened this burden.
