• Part 1: Standard admission process through UniAthena, with relevant documents.
• Part 2: Admission managed by Acacia University, including submission of your Level 8 Diploma transcript, a 500-word essay, and a 2,000-word portfolio examination. A personal statement and documentary evidence are also needed.

• For Part A:
  • Transcripts of your Master degree, or an equivalent qualification, from recognized institutions in Management, Business, Commerce, Economics, Engineering Management, or other allied subjects.
  • Proof of a minimum of 3 years of professional work experience.
  • Proof of English language proficiency at a professional level. If you completed your Master degree from an English-speaking University and/or have worked at an English-speaking organisation, you are exempt from this requirement. 
     
• For Part B:
  • Level 8 Advanced Diploma Transcript, issued by CIQ, UK, from Part A
  • 500-word essay
  • 2,000-word portfolio examination

Yes, you can apply without a finalized topic. However, you should have a broad area of interest, as you will refine your research focus during the coursework and proposal stage.

Yes, the DBA is specifically designed for working professionals. The flexible, online structure allows learners to balance full-time work while advancing their academic and professional expertise.

The Referral Policy is a UniAthena initiative to make our programs more  affordable to the learners. Learners can  share programs with  friends, family or even peers. If the Invitee enrolls for the suggested program, the next module is made free of charge.

After enrolling in a particular program or receiving the admission letter, we are unable to offer refunds as per our policy. However, prior to enrollment, all learners have the option to utilize the free trial period, which lasts between 3 to 7 days.

Yes. A student who is currently pursuing a Master’s degree may be provisionally enrolled in the Acacia DBA program. Final enrollment will be subject to the successful completion and passing of the Master’s degree and submission of the required documents. A provisional offer letter can be issued with this condition, and the provisional enrollment process may be initiated accordingly.

The DBA program is assessed through a combination of assignments, a doctoral thesis, and a Viva Voce Examination. These components collectively measure learners’ academic performance, critical thinking, and research capability.

Yes! You will have access to:

• Reading materials and resources (including an online library).
• 1:1 academic support and research supervision.
• Workshops and orientations.

In Part A, you will be allocated an Academic Advisor to assist you with your coursework. In Part B, you will be allocated a Research Supervisor to oversee your Doctoral research process. Yes. Since the program is delivered entirely in English, applicants must demonstrate professional-level English language proficiency. This ensures they can effectively engage with academic content, meet research requirements, and actively participate in collaborative learning activities.

The DBA and the PhD are equal but different. The DBA is an executive-level program designed for working professionals possessing extensive managerial experience as well as a master’s certification, who are looking to advance further in their career. DBA has both rigor and relevance as it contributes to theory, practice and research in business and management. The DBA program is a full-fledged Doctoral program, but unlike the Ph.D., it is geared towards honing capabilities in the professional sphere. PhD programs are extremely theoretical and ideal for professionals interested in pursuing careers in research and academia.

As Acacia University operates entirely online, convocations are rarely held.

• Certificates are couriered to students.
• The issuing body is authorized under the Arizona State Board for Private Post-Secondary Education (AZPPSE). Legalization or apostille is available as required.

Evaluations are based on assignments, a thesis, and a VIVA VOCE Examination. All these assessments are conducted online.

Yes! Students who complete Part 1 successfully will qualify for the Level 8 Advanced Diploma in Research and Business Management as an Early Exit Award.

The program is structured in two parts:

• Part 1: 20 months total. Students will complete 10 courses, each taking 60 days (2 months).
• Part 2: Approximately 16 months will be dedicated to the doctoral dissertation (Proposal and Thesis).
• Total Program Duration is around 36 months (3 years).

• Students who successfully complete Part A will qualify for a Level 8 Advanced Diploma in Research and Business Management, issued by CIQ, UK.
• Students who successfully complete Part B will earn their Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree, awarded by Acacia University, Arizona, US. 

• Part A consists of 10 modules with 20 UK credits/4.5 US Credits each, resulting in a total of 200 UK credits/45 US credits.
• Part B comprises of 15 US credits to complete the DBA. Candidates who completed part A 45 US credits exempted, bringing the total required to 60 US credits.
