I am grateful to the Lord Almighty who has enabled me to complete the 6 course modules pre-required for conducting the research project/dissertation about the Master of Science in Construction Management.

I have learned a lot about Construction Management, not only about human resources management but also the skills related to finance for managers, sustainable business development, strategic project management, engineering services provision, and EHS. All these insights have moved me from a lower level to an upper level in my career.

I am Adele C. Mendy. I completed my Postgraduate Certificate in Human Resource Management offered by Cambridge International Qualifications, UK. I worked for different departments in the current organization I'm working for. At the moment, I am the Executive Secretary to the Director General of the Gambia Tourism Board. He really trusts me and believes in my abilities.

The reason I chose this programme is to develop my skills and acquire the necessary qualifications for a well-established career in human resources. I always aimed to choose a profession based on my interests and skills. I firmly believe it's the key to staying motivated, engaging in studies, and building a successful career. My dream job is to become an HR specialist.

It was my long-time desire to upgrade my academic qualifications to a Master's degree. The desire grew stronger during 2021 after the Covid-19 outbreak, as I was working from home most of the time and I thought of utilising the saved commuting time in pursuing an MBA program.
