At the age of 56, with a secure job and a healthy family, people are wondering why do I need to study more? I usually use Henry Ford’s quote above, and I get the usual nod.

I have always been a passionate reader and learner. Now, I am preparing to author and publish my first book. 
 

I have chosen this program as a step to progress to further education. I need to strengthen my research and writing skills. I hope this program can add to my skills towards writing my own books.  
 

I would progress further to higher education, MA or MAR, then a PhD, hopefully. 
 

I believe that teachers are the pillars and lanterns of the world. A good teacher should be a leader who devotes himself, his time and efforts into transferring genuine knowledge to his students under any circumstances.

I am not looking for a new shift in jobs at this stage of my life. My dream job is the one I already have. I just wish that I can benefit as many people as I can by extending my support, knowledge, and experience. 

I have made a drastic shift in my job from the Aviation field to Safety, Health, and Environment, by accepting the challenge of an HSE Manager’s role without any prior experience. I have educated and developed myself to be successful in a short time.   
 

When my dad gave me my first book, a novel (Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë) as a birthday gift. I started collecting and reading books since then. I wound up with a big personal library with hundreds of books.   

My idea of a perfect vacation is the one spent with family and close friends, no matter where and when.

I always believe that: when there is a will there's a way. Due to my father’s sickness that rendered him jobless and unable to provide enough support to the family, I had to leave school just before senior high. I caught up later and compensated that by studying and achieving more and more. Now, not only am I a successful department manager, but a member of the Board of Directors for a big company.
