Please tell us about yourself, your family and your interests:


I am the last born in a family of 6 children, my family name is Nyamurasa. I have a bachelor’s degree in Geology Science and I am a Catholic Christian. Till date, I have  worked in two companies. In the first one, I was a Production Manager and the second one is where I am presently working as Safety Coordinator.

What drew you to the program you are studying at Athena? Is it living up to your expectations?

I was interested in the program I applied to because I was working as a Production Manager in an NGO. It is something I enjoy doing so I want to deepen my knowledge of the subject to take on greater responsibilities in future.

What would you like to learn next? What are your next career steps? 

I would like to learn Accelerated IT and leadership. The next step of my career would be to manage and lead a company.

Tell us about a couple of your achievements that have been particularly rewarding.


I have already created a company that bears the name of King Services. It was successful, doing quite well but unfortunately fell into bankruptcy. I intend to reorganize it and relaunch.  The company was handling transport, utilization and sale of building materials.

What acquired skill have you always wanted to learn?

I would like to learn management and programming.

If you could go back in time, what time would you go to?

I would invest in BTC, and rectify the mistakes I made when my company failed.

Any person, living or dead, you would like to have dinner with?

Nelson Mandela is the one I would like to have dinner with.

Which fictional character would you like to meet? 

I would love to meet Tintin, the young Belgian reporter and adventurer of the comic series The Adventures of Tintin.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?How has it changed your life?

When I was leaving my family for work, my mother told me never to give up praying. I heeded her advice and things have been going smoothly since.
