What drew you to the program you are studying at Athena? Is it living up to your expectations?
I attended the trial version of the PGDPCM and was amazed at the quality of education I found, so I enrolled in the program. The course materials/content, price, duration and the overall quality of education have far exceeded my expectations.
What would you like to learn next? What are your next career steps?
Next Learnings: Economic Engineering (from another institute) and Executive MBA (from Athena). My next career step is to become a Procurement Manager.
Are you working somewhere? If yes, what do you feel is the most enjoyable/rewarding aspect of your job?
Yes, I am working somewhere, as described above! The most rewarding aspect of my job is to be able to support my teammates in several MS Office difficulties, especially MS Excel where I possess considerable knowledge. Another rewarding aspect is to know that I am responsible for developing the company's KPIs which have boosted the department’s performance, so far.
What do you see as your greatest strength?
The ability to learn at every single turn of life and rectify my mistakes is my greatest strength. In addition, the ability to teach and support other teammates, whenever possible, in order to drive organizational excellence.
What is your most cherished memory?
The moment I became a father.
Which country have you always wanted to visit and why?
Spain. I am eager to see what is in the country that drove it to become the world’s second tourist destination.
Do you have professional role models? Who are they and what do you find inspiring about them and their accomplishments?
Jesus Christ is my role model. The world’s best Leader who was capable of seeing in miserable, wretched people something great that could turn them into the world's best professionals. This leadership of selflessness, unconditional love and dedication, improving other people’s lives, to become better than himself is what I admire most.
If you could go on a road trip with anyone in history, who would it be?
My wife and kid.
What have you learnt from your experiences that you would like to pass on to others?
People will always make mistakes but they can always become better than themselves. In life, we will never find perfection but we need to have open eyes to see beyond someone’s physical being. We need to see people with the eyes of the heart to be able to see who they can become.
