UniAthena Celebrates Landmark Graduation Ceremony in Dubai

Dubai, UAE – February 5, 2025

UniAthena is delighted to announce its participation in the highly-anticipated La Réussite Graduation Ceremony on Thursday, January 23, 2025. Conducted at the luxe Madinat Jumeirah Hotel in Dubai, UAE, UniAthena’s graduating cohort featured over twenty successful Doctorate and Master Degree holders who completed their academic journey in association with the Catholic University of Murcia, Spain. 

Delivering the keynote address, Dr. Sree Lakshmi, UniAthena’s Head of Research Programs, congratulated the graduates on their impressive accomplishments, praising their unwavering dedication, grit, and resilience. She encouraged them to use their accomplishments as a catalyst for inspiring others and leaving behind a legacy of learning, leadership, and innovation. 

Adding to the evening’s significance, Dr. Ian Joule, the Valedictorian, also took an opportunity to address the gathering and inspire them with his perseverance, vision, and commitment to excellence. He highlighted how the rigorous yet fulfilling programs had sharpened graduates’ critical thinking and professional expertise. Both speeches were met with impressive applause, leaving a lasting impression on the attendees. 

Following the ceremony, graduates took a moment to share their heartfelt appreciation for UniAthena and how they envision their professional growth in the aftermath of their academic accolades. Reflecting on how the DBA program changed him, Dr. Tapiwa commented, “[A Doctorate] just makes your mind work. You become critical in terms of analyzing things. You become engaged and it broadens your understanding.” Dr. Godwin Amla added, “The faculty treats students with empathy, and they inspire students to complete [the program].” Dr. Patience Dapaah, upon discovering UniAthena’s doctorate program shared, “I thought, ‘This is my chance.’ And I am so grateful that I took that chance.”
