Through the course “Master in Engineering Management”, I have built a solid foundation in product management principles. I have built a deep understanding of quality standards, technology integration, and lean manufacturing processes.
I have strengthened my professional skills with practical application such as-
Process Excellence- Evaluating, assessing and recommending quality practices for improving and maintaining business processes and functions. Applying principles of continuous improvement, quality audits, customer focus, and process approaches, along with the seven quality control tools including check sheets, histograms, control charts, scatter diagrams, and Pareto analysis.
Technology Integration- Using innovation matrix to evaluate how business management practices approach and solve business challenges. Leveraging technology for process automation and monitoring, reducing errors and wastes, and improving data analysis. Deploying tools such as IoT, Cloud, AI and machine learning, and robotics.
Lean Practices- Evaluating the adoption of lean manufacturing techniques, such as JIT, 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, reverse engineering to standardize and optimize production processes. These methods cut down on inefficiencies and costs, ensure sustainability and reduce environmental impact. Applying these approaches also aid in accelerating time-to-market, achieving customer satisfaction, and hence ensuring market competitiveness and profitability.
