Millions of people have already read and reviewed this book in the past. “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie (1936), is a timeless bestseller and crowns the heart of many over these years.

This is the best possible and beautifully written book that talks about human relations and how to be a great leader and a wonderful human being as well. Dale Carnegie in this excellent tome has provided a step-by-step process and road map as to what it means to be kind, to be caring, considerate, and compassionate. This book gives examples from life to illustrate its points, so anyone can understand how to apply it.

From a management perspective, “How to Win Friends and Influence People” is a book that reiterates the basic tenets of leadership in a work environment, reminding us of how important it is to be and do good, compliment people, make everyone around you feel good, and empower people. Even though this book was written over 90 years ago, many principles the book teaches can be applied to the workplace, and you can reap the results which are visible, as the principles are still relevant in the present day as much as they were before. This book has been an inspiration and success ladder for many famous and hugely successful business people.

No matter what stage of life you are in or what your profession is, this book really builds a solid foundation for a successful life.

To give a brief summary, the author starts out with 9 suggestions on how to get the best out of the book. To make it simple and easy to understand, the book is broken into parts, where each principle is explained with interesting examples. As you read through the principles, you may feel these are so simple, but in practice, they become much more difficult to stick to. Through each principle, the author tells you the ways to make friends and influence people by giving examples /stories of how it helps, and then further explains the principle.

Dale Carnegie's principles help you to achieve your optimum potential in this competitive world. “How to Win Friends and Influence People” is the result of a lifetime of work and experience in human psychology and relationships. Thus, it’s a real testimony to the importance of human relationships even in this internet era, where human interactions and relationships are becoming virtual.
