Graduation Ceremony 2025: UniAthena’s Master Learners Earn Their Dream Degree

UniAthena is delighted to announce its participation in the prestigious 2025 Graduation Ceremony, conducted in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The highly-anticipated 4-day event was attended by Master degree students, who completed their academic journey with the esteemed Guglielmo Marconi University, Italy, in partnership with UniAthena. 

The celebration commenced with two days of leadership sessions at the Pullman Hotel in Dubai. Graduating students attended expert-led sessions led by renowned experts: Ahmed Al Zarooni, author of the best-selling book ‘A Leader’s Legacy’, and Andrew Stotts, a Leadership Expert with over three decades of experience. The speakers elaborated on the topic, ‘Leaders who create Leaders’, imparting insightful and boundary-breaking perspectives on leading, guiding, and nurturing for greatness. UniAthena’s Academic Director, Col. (Rtd.) Anil Ahluwalia also hosted a session on the importance of transformative and empathetic leadership. Filled with learner-led interactions, collaborative activities, and illuminative moments, the 2-Day Leadership Sessions turned out to be a phenomenal success. 

On the third day, graduates embarked upon an exciting Desert Safari trip, a cultural and recreational highlight of the event. Filled with exhilarating dune bashing rides, awe-inducing fire performances, delicious Arabic food, and fun moments on the dance floor, the trip became an opportunity to explore the culture of Dubai, bond with friends and family, and create memories of a lifetime. 

The formal Graduation Ceremony took place on April 27, 2025, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Hotel in Downtown Dubai. The ceremony, which began at 4 PM, included a welcome address from Shahid A. Wani, Associate Dean of Eaton Business School, and a congratulatory message from Col. (Rtd.) Anil Ahluwalia, and a keynote speech from Veruska Bellandi, Administrative Director of Guglielmo Marconi University. 

After these applause-rousing speeches, graduates stepped into the spotlight and received their certifications from the University delegates. Closing with a vote of thanks and a celebratory hat-toss moment, the graduates made their way to the buffet before hitting the dance floor with their friends and family. They also took the time to pose for photographs and share insightful testimonies and interviews with UniAthena. 

Featuring established professionals from 22 countries, the historic number of graduates underscored UniAthena’s global reach and its commitment to flexible, affordable, and accessible education.
