Athena Global Education signs MOU with LEARN Global Institute of Myanmar

UniAthena and LEARN Global Institute of Myanmar have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to provide internationally accredited courses and degree programs for students in Myanmar.

This follows UniAthena’s recent partnership with Asia Trading Consultants known popularly as Asiatrac, to help UniAthena establish and grow a sustainable business in East Asia – particularly, countries of the ASEAN Community, one the world’s most rapidly growing economic areas.

LEARN will deliver UniAthena’s courses viz. Master of Business Administration and Doctorate of Business Administration programs and professional certification courses provided by UniAthena and awarded by renowned universities viz. Universidad Catolica De Murcia (UCAM), Spain, Guglielmo Marconi University (GMU), Italy and Bellevue University, Nebraska, USA.

LEARN Global Institute has a good track record of handling the delivery of online courses from abroad and is currently managing a MSc. Fintech program for Manchester Metropolitan University in UK. They have also been successful in developing the local market for corporate training courses.

LEARN has presented a business plan which envisages making an immediate start on brand building and promotion of Athena’s programs. They will work closely with the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce (UMFCCI), other Myanmar-based international Chambers of Commerce and individual organisations to promote UniAthena’s short courses and expect to recruit the first students for these to be delivered in January.
