MBA in General Management I Batch 2023

Please tell us about yourself.

My career began at the age of 17 as a part-time worker. This decision was not driven by money at the time, but rather by the desire to be immersed in life's experiences. I firmly believe that education is an essential aspect of life. I’m a leader by default, a people person, a hard worker, and a quick learner, and I am adept at working in stressful and demanding environments. Now I'm the CEO of two companies: a management consultancy and an F&B business.

What drew you to the programme you are studying at UniAthena? Do you think it would help you realize your career goals?

I always wanted to have an MBA since I started in 2018 at the same university I received my BA from, but due to time constraints, I couldn't continue. In the role of a CEO, an MBA is strongly recommended, especially if you are dealing with consulting.

What would you like to learn next?

I’m looking forward to enrolling in the Doctorate of Business Administration programme following the completion of my MBA degree.

What are your next career steps?

My next career step is to establish a chain of restaurants.

How has your academic journey prepared you for your career?

As I mentioned earlier, learning is the key to a successful career. My experience working at an early age gave me a rich contrast between educational life and the practical world simultaneously.

Tell us about a time you planned and accomplished a challenging goal.

I always aspired to become a business owner. Despite managing 150 employees with substantial perks at my previous job, even knowing I didn't have a client when I started my own company, I decided to start my own business.

Considering all the people you've met in your field, what personal attributes do you believe are essential for success?

I believe the most critical attributes for success encompass passion, perseverance, patience, effective communication, humility, confidence, courage, and honesty.

Describe a time you stepped outside your comfort zone and demonstrated leadership skills.

My foremost goal has always been to break out of my comfort zone. My foremost goal has always been to break out of my comfort zone. For me, sharpening my leadership skills is an everyday pursuit.

Which book would you recommend as a must-read for everyone, and why?

"I consider 'The Art of War' by Sun Tzu a must-read for everyone."

What is your dream job, and why?

My dream job is to run a chain of restaurants across countries and to expand my consultancy internationally. "I aim to elevate my brand to the status of an iconic signature in the industry."

Do you have any message for professionals just starting out in their careers?

In the event that you're not passionate about the work you're doing and it doesn't align with your primary objective, it's never too late to move on. Make the right move!
